Do you serve clients that are marginalized, vulnerable, or at-risk? Are you looking to provide the people you serve with programming that creates a safe space for re-connection with self & community, where participants can learn and practice skills for managing emotions, triggers and the complexities of daily living?

What We Provide

For 26 years Yoga Outreach has been partnering with facilities to support yoga programming in social service settings serving communities of people experiencing significant life challenges.

When you become a partner facility with Yoga Outreach we provide you with yoga mats and qualified volunteer yoga teachers to lead the yoga programs. All our volunteer yoga instructors are certified teachers who have also completed our 20-hour Yoga Outreach Core Training™ and a practicum session with experienced and qualified staff prior to placement in any Service Yoga setting.

The Yoga Outreach Core Training™ provides students with the skills that they will need to deliver trauma-informed yoga classes that are strengths-based, invitational and based on participant choice. Our training also covers best practices for the various Service Yoga settings, and an introduction to the challenges clients may be experiencing in their lives and on the mat.

As a program partner with your facility, we recruit, screen, train, and mentor, volunteer yoga instructors to deliver trauma informed, strengths-based yoga classes on-site at your facility. We provide ongoing support to volunteers and your staff to maintain the highest quality yoga programs for your clients.

If you can afford to pay $50+ per class we will process your application and rather than administer your program we will pair you with a selection of potential yoga teachers from our pool of training alumni. This supports increased capacity both for our organization to support those organizations that do not have budget and to support yoga teachers in finding paid work.

We process new applications on a monthly basis, and will be in touch with you about your application as soon as we can.
