As an organization, Yoga Outreach is dedicated to building an organization that reflects the diversity of our membership and the communities we serve. Board members are required to participate in all fundraising activities (attending events, soliciting donations, acting as an ambassador for the organization) and make an annual financial contribution. We ask board members to set this amount thoughtfully and not create any hardship. Our preference is for board members to set up a monthly donation.

As a new Board member you will be expected to digest a substantial amount of material to educate yourself on the organization's purpose, mission, operations, and needs. You will be asked to keep current on issues affecting the organization. You will also be expected to engage in learning about your role and responsibilities as a board member.
